Thanks Frank, im very pleased with it, there are not many Shilohs in the UK and i always promised myself one but could never afford it, i have had Pedersolis back in the 1990s but this is in a different class
I have not cast a bullet for over 25 years so i am still refining my casting technique, with the Help of another BPCR shooter who kindly gave me 50 of his excellently cast Money bullets i know what shape and alloy my barrel likes, just need to get my finished bullets as good as his.

Sounds good, I've only cast a few rifle bullets myself, but thousands of handgun bullets.
    That is a pretty rifle.

Short video firing my Shiloh Sharps Saddle Rifle in .45-100 with a 28 inch heavy octagon barrel with a 511 grain paper patch bullet over 81 grains of Kik FFFg black powder. And yes I took my shooting glasses off while setting up the phone to take the video and forgot to put them back on and since that was my last round I could not reshoot the video.

I just went back through all ten pages. It's a shame that a lot of the photo bucket images are wiped out.

Here is the new Shiloh Model 1877, XXXX wood, pack hardened in 45-70. Close-ups show the difference in the 77 and 74 action and color/case vs pack hardening...
