    300 Blackout dies ?

What are the better die sets to use, ie-RCBS / Lee / CH4D or others?

I have Redding(30/221) and Lyman. Currently use the Lyman for my 30 Apache and the Redding for my 300 BO, but going to try the Lyman with the 300 BO

I like the Lee dies, but those are the only die sets I use. Personal preference for me I guess.

My 300BO dies are Hornady. I like the inline seating, replaceable decapping pins and threaded zip spindle. When you throw in the free bullet offer, it's a pretty good deal.

I have the RCBS smallbase/AR dies for 300 BO, in case you run into some military brass the was fired from the SAW! Seems to work great so far!!

Redding 30/221 deluxe die set which gives you the seater, FL sizing die, and neck sizing die, although I seat bullets on a Vickerman in-line seater.

LEE, removed decaper, spud just happens to be right size for my cast - tight chamber.
    Whatever!

My Lee dies in 300 Blackout work just fine and have formed and loaded many Blackout cartridges. And what is even better they cost a lot less.

I use Redding set. I like it but then again I'm not looking for perfection in my 300bo. I'm also a fan of the sliding sleeve seaters so I may look to Hornady or Forster in my next life.

I use Lee dies for 300 AAC. They even form converted brass. I use a separate Lee factory crimp die. I LOVE 300 AAC since I can cast (Lee 312-150-2R) and reload. I built an AR specifically for it and they shoot great.

I just jumped in to the 300 blackout game, have been using Lee dies.
The Lee dies have been working good.
I do miss the bullet guide on the Hornady seating dies, but for the price I can live without it.

I have the Lee dies but they won't correctly form .223 cases to 300 blk.

I never resolved the issue because I have a GSI trim die that correctly forms them as it trims. Once formed the Lee dies will resize to correct dimensions.

I use the HF chop saw first, then form with the Lee die. The old noses get sent to recycler and they add up fast.
    Whatever!

I suppose every loader has a preference. I started out with Lee; had a lot of trouble with rounds that wouldn't chamber. Went to RCBS and haven't had a problem since. I have about a half dozen other sets of Lee dies that have given me no problems.

That's odd. The Lee dies form 223 to 300AAC perfectly for me. In fact, I was astonished it was that simple.

Huh? What is wrong when they form them? I've had no issues using my Lee dies to form the brass.

    ^^
what 6622729 said. Using Lee to form, RCBS for everything else. Cases not chambering (finished round) is probably due to different neck wall thickness. I had to pull a couple until I found the good/bad brass listing on 300blktalk, since then they all fit.
