    475 Linebaugh Shotshell loads

    Good Day,
Has anyone ever made up some 475 Linebaugh shotshell loads? If so will you be willing to share your loads / experience.

    Thanks.

    No ,
But I have loaded SW 500 shot loads.
I used Blue Dot powder + a 475 Linebaugh gas check over the powder+ #4 shot w/a little buffer with a 260gr cast boolit over the shot. The 260gr cast was lightly pressed against the shot and crimped in the crimp groove.I also have a 00 buck load for the SW 500.
I had Dan at MM make me the 260gr boolit mould for this purpose.
I also made a 2 shot load for the SW 500 using 2- 260gr cast boolits stacked on top of each other.
One thing to keep in mind,do NOT have any space between the powder/shot etc,you want everything lightly compressed together.
All loads shot good out to 10 yards, the double boolit load shot 2-3" at 7 yds, about 4" at 10 yds and 6-8" at 25 yds.
