Any thoughts on if I ordered one for a New Frontier if it would fit tight enough for a SAA with the same length barrel. On their order page they list the the two guns separately. Just wondering if I could get by with one holster for both?
Thanks

Send an email to Rob Leahy the owner of Simply Rugged. He will shoot straight with you. I suspect you could put a SSA in a NF holster but not vise-versa due to the height of the front sight, but Rob is the guy with the straight skinny.
Disclaimer: The above is not holy writ. It is just my opinion based on my experience and knowledge. Your mileage may vary.
I don't want to put words in Rob Leahys mouth, but buying a larger holster to fit a smaller gun is like buying the same size shoes so you and your wife can wear the same pair. One of you is going to be rubbed the wrong way. A loose fitting holster will allow the gun to wobble and move, accelerating wear on the finish. When you are talking 1500$ Colts, it seems penny-wise and pound-foolish to me.
