Only my Swiss Vetterli .41 rimfire, FN49 7x57 and Japanese Type 38 6.5mm I don't have the blades for. Had them for my Springfield 03s, M1 Garands, M1 Carbine, M1917 Enfield, Yugo M48, SKS, AKM, FALs Polish M44, 20" and 14.5" AR15s.

Double Star 14.5" with M7 I carried in Iraq right after I retired.

M4ergy 14.5" with M9 I built after returning from that trip in 08'.

Most of my mil-surps have bayonets, most came with them, I've bought a few only if the price was right.

    They shoot better out.

I do not like them they poke holes in the ceiling, break stuff etc. The best pics here are the ones OUTSIDE.

Most never have matching #'s anyway. They are cool OUTSIDE!!

Yep. A boomstick with a toadstabber on it demands careful, respectful handling indoors! I only use 'em for wall decorations.

That right there is what I need for my AR. Are those hard to find?

Don't think M7 are hard to find. Believe Ontario still makes them. Just remember you need either a 14.5" with carbine gas, 16" with mid gas (not 100% sure) or 20" rifle gas system to have the lock ring line up on the Flash Hinder.

I've only got one bayonet and it came with a Yugo Mauser. I'm not a collector in the strict sense. I buy because I want to shoot and someday hand down to my sons.

I'd love to have a bayonet for each rifle but they cost more than some of my rifles!

How many mausers do you have? Me thinks you may be in denial.

I began collecting military surplus arms in 1958. I ALWAYS obtained the associated bayonet, along with the "frog" (carrier) whenever possible. I am pleased to say I got them all when the getting was good. I bought many MkIII British Enfield M1907 bayonets for $1.00 each. All are still on establishment. My most expensive bayonet in the 1960s was for $5.00 for a Swiss "Neuhausen" Sawtooth long bayonet. At the March 2016 gun show in Morris, PA a "fair" and rusty sawtooth and scabbard were for sale for $600.00.

Who needed to buy gold when military surplus stuff was at hand?

Thats funny. Back when I was a kid in the early 60's I had some money from a paper route I did and came across one of these at a "farmer's market" and bought it for $5 along with the cover. Both in very good condition. 30 years later I bought a Swiss straight pull rifle (1911 I think) and never thought about trying that bayonet on it until recently. But it fits up tight like it belongs on it! After reading all of this discussion I guess I am the only one that actually uses an old military rifle with the bayonet mounted. I've killed a lot of deer and cleaned them with a Swedish Mauser long rifle in 6.5x55 and that Swedish bayonet has cleaned all of them. Of course I always mount the bayonet since I have the thought that one time I will jump out of the tree stand and kill a deer with that bayonet!

Shoot yeah! I got pig stickers for all my AKs, my FR8, 590A1 but my pride & joy is a M1914 sawback bayonet for my K31.... seriously nasty blade, there.
I collect exotic ammo, if you have something interesting let me know.

"Out of the trenches like lions they leapt
And on through the night like a torrent they swept
On, on, with their bayonets thirsting before
On to the foe with a rush and a roar!
And wild to the welkin their battle cry rang
As down on the Boches like tigers they sprang ...."

    Did I get it right?
