    My new Smoke Pole

Hey folks. It's been a while since I've been here - I've been busy.

I just stopped by to share my new creation with you guys.

    http://www.kirbos.net/ar_smoke_pole/

All of the necessary information is out there if you want to build one for yourself.

7.62NATO - because shooting something twice with 5.56NATO is just plain silly.

Nice! Needs a stowed ram rod though. Who makes an AR hand guard with ram rod pipes? Picatinny rail-mounted ram rod pipes? Ooh; Key Mod ram rod pipes! Don't forget the Smith Vortex flash hider (though that could make loading interesting). You could modify an AR magazine, turning it into a hinged patch box. Next I suppose you'll need a carbon fiber or anodized aluminum powder horn.

If that's what color components you use when you build one, then yes it does.

I thought about a muzzle device, but decided against it. It would add weight, complicate loading, possibly cause problems with sabot rounds, and serve no real purpose beyond making the thing look more bad ***.

How about just a multi-piece anodized aluminum ram rod?

Stay tuned - there is more to come... (as funds and time permit)

I think a key mod or picatinny ram rod holder down the left side of the upper , I would avoid the aluminum ram rod unless you had a false muzzle cut in , no need to wear that rifling

a magazine that carried 3 speed loaders would be great
Whatever you be , Be a good one

I like it! Pretty creative use of the hammer. That will get you checked a few times by the fish and game
