Curious, did it break because a cartridge slipped past the "link" when it was cycled ? (I believe the little bump on the link is what the cartridge slips past, causing the carrier to break ) I have had cartridges go under the carrier but have not broken one yet, I kept waiting for Homestead to get the 357 Link in but they have not had them for a while, Jacqueline at Homestead was very helpful and said she could not see or measure any difference between the 357 link and the regular AE link, so I got one of them. Haven't put it in yet because my modified one is still working o.k.

hey, watch where ya point that thing!

No I was even more stupid, extracted a cartridge left boolit in rifiling tapped it out with a rod but the lever dropped lifting the carrier boolit caught its edge and snapped it like a carrot.had the odd round go under the carrier but I didn't force the lever so no problem.must admit its my pet rifle just so nice to shoot.
