I have a few brass moulds, both from Night Owl and MP. The "trick" for ME is to follow the "how to" instructions on NOE web-site re cleaning and first use of brass mould to a "tee"!!! -- http://noebulletmolds.com/smf/index....msg2.html#msg2 ; and, raise the temperature of your allow significantly! I "fought" with many, many wrinkled boolets after re-cleaning, re-cleaning (did I type that again?), smoking mould with a Bic lighter, etc., etc., ... when *MY* solution to get almost-perfect boolits was just to raise the heat up. 'Specially for brass moulds with pins -- at least in my wee casting experience, the pins seem to both need, and like being hot!
Good luck! I cannot determine whether the MP or NOE mould is better -- they're all from either manufacturer, imho, the best!
    Good luck!

I had a notice from the post office about a package from Slovenia... Took me a full day to figure out what it was and then it was an urgent run to the PO to pick it up:

I mounted some slightly modified RCBS handles and I'll be pouring some hot ones tomorrow!

Thanks for putting this buy together!

Over run secured, paid for and on the way. Thanks for this post. I'll be looking out for the mailman also.

    Hi,
Mine arrived this morning. It certainly is as good as my previous Mihec moulds.
Now I just have to wait for some cool weather to try it out. 35deg Celcius and 65-95% humidity make it a little warm for casting unfortunately.

I recently cast a nice pile of these in big HP & solid. Solids came in around 230 +/-. The HP with aluminum GC were around 290 & copper GC 300 m/l.

Cast good, heated mold once while melting lead after smoking & got good bullets quickly. BHN is at 15.8.

Most of what I cast & weighed were necked down (HPs) for 454 Cassul use. Can't wait to try them out.

Will use them in Marlin 450 as .460s.
