    Dang, I think that is a bit long to wait. I hope the delivery time is shorter than that.

    About 2 weeks or so.
    Depends on how busy customs are.

    Yep, it usually is about two weeks give or take a day or two in some cases. But like mentioned if it gets hung up in Customs for who knows what or why, it might be delayed a bit.

    I have over a dozen of MiHec's molds and they are worth the wait.

Thank you Beagle333, for dealing with the hassle of putting this buy together it is appreciated, and thank you Mr. Prevec for taking pride in your work and creating a truly quality product. So, yep their out. I was very pleased. Sorry no pics, I'm doing well to get this posted. (-;

    Thanks jpd.

    osteodoc08, be sure to check your spam and trash folders. My PP requests always go in there for some reason. But he will re-invoice you as well.

    Mine arrived!!

    I got mine today. 10 days from payment to delivery. It's almost too pretty to use. I'll just have to grimace and cast away. A question, does it matter which side you mount the pins? This is my first MiHec mold. Thanks Iron Whittler

    No. I put mine in the block opposite the sprue plate, but it's up to you.

    I received mine yesterday and can't wait to actually use it! Since this is both my first MP and first brass mold (I have about 25 others in aluminum and steel), I do have a couple of questions for those of you who have experience with these.

    Is the heat cycle any different than what I have done with my NOE molds?
    Do you run higher or lower operating mold temperatures?

    Thanks for your time and effort,

    Here's a previous thread on getting one running.
    Personally.... I find that heat cycling is the same and it does run a little hotter than NOE molds. You'll find many opinions on that.

    Beagle333, thanks for the link. I've found that even the same number cavity mold for a particular caliber, but a different weight, sometimes need different operating temperatures for best casting. At least now, I have a starting point.
