Molot VEPR Grendal 6.5x39 20.5 inch

Hey all, long time lurker first time poster.

I have taken more of a liking to AK pattern rifles as of late as I work on my MM23EK build - and I noticed that some 6.5 VEPRs hit the market.

Ive seen some 20.5" models for sale around 700-800, theyll obviously need some work to make into a DMR, but its a project Id like to take on.

My main question is since it is in 6.5x39 and not a true 6.5 Grendel how should I work on load development? I'll probably end up having to get custom dies machined for this cartridge, anyone have any info on it? Anyone ever touched one?

My local academy has started stocking Wolf 6.5x39 but it is all steel cased ****, Ill eventually want to design a precision load for this cartridge.

Also if anyone owns a 6.5 Vepr, or has any suggestions for my endeavor feel free to let me know
