A new drawing for the Great Plains modified for inlines and other apps it's time for a new thread
The 502 Black Powder (BP) inline hunter / competition / BPCR /500 S&W has evolved to a new drawing at the end of my first post on NOE group buy discussions. There are drawings for the PB / HB mould and a HP will be there shortly or in Active Group buys if it gets transferred first
Al patched the preliminary drawings to the end of my first post: http://noebulletmolds.com/smf/index....ic,1589.0.html
As noted there the drawing is preliminary sooo if you see a problem SCREECH
The design started as a 50 inline Hunter then Completion next was application in BPCR. It became apparent it was a good fit to 500 S&W
In the RG HB it is 6 boolits in one mould and will be able to cast the following:
502-500-SWC (PB)
502-470-SWC (HB)
502-420-SWC (PB)
502-390-SWC (HB)
502-339-SWC (PB)
502-309-SWC (HB)
In the RG HP it is 3 boolits FP HP or slightly concave the NOE normal 3 pin HP set up. Preliminary HP drawing in the next day or so probably at the end of my first post or in Active group buys
In the plain vanilla it is 500g.
From LOTS of past experience with Keith 270g 44 in sabots for 50 cal puts em down like nothing else. A full 50 caliber Keithesque should be even better.
This boolit is NOT planned for traditional 50 Cal front stuffers. NOE has the traditional covered in the 510-380-RF and it works like Zorro’s sword.
I am trying to get this one out for black powder season. Bubas’ ah waitin’
