Hi guys. I just got into casting and I ordered me first bullet mold that is a tumble lube design (Ranch Dog 359-175) and was wondering if you can still lubricate it using a Lyman 450 or if that's a bad idea?
Thanks

absolutely yes.. You just don't want to size them down so much the groves disappear.

That depends on how large RD 359-175 casts, whether it is concentric or not, and how well it fits your gun. If the CB's are out of round, and too large for your gun, then at least size them to fit. Lube them as well or just swish them around in liquid lox or Lar's Liquid Xlox, let them dry, load, and shoot.
I'd use the T/L for a T/L design.
I have used normal lube on tl designs and I end up with about5 times the amount of lube up and down the side than I want/need.
but yeah you can lube size lube.
or do like ranch dog does and dip lube in the liquid, let dry, then size/check in the sizer.
