Just purchased a Stevens 530a in 410!! Think savage 311 with checkered walnut stocks! It's all original and shoots where I look, 19 of 22 skeet doubles, low gun and pushing the button myself ( so cold no one wanted to go shoot!). Took 2 on the pattern board before I started, just in case, no convergence issue and 50/50. It's not the NID I want, but it didn't cost me a kidney either! Anybody know where there is a nice 16ga NID, adding that would probably put me on the couch for a while

    Thumbs up

I bought a Winchester 1895 Saddle Ring Carbine in .30 US (.30-40 Krag) from a friend of mine tonight. It is missing the top hand guard and it is also missing the saddle ring itself (but the stud is still there). Neither of those was a deal breaker for me. Pretty good overall condition, not badly abused or beaten, and with a good bore at first glance, but I'll see how it looks after I give it a good scrubbing. He'd been trying to sell it for a while now at $850, but he just hadn't had any serious lookers so he got a bit fed up with it and so he blew it out to me tonight for $525. (And that's in Canadian dollars of course.) I'm a happy camper! I have lots of suitable .30 calibre moulds to work with including 311299 and 314299 (depending on how big the bore slugs), but of course now I need to find a set of .30-40 Krag dies and some brass. (Sorry, no photos yet.)

PS: Found a good used set of Lyman dies at a decent price today ... they're on the way to me in the mail!

Just picked up my Winchester 1873 Short Rifle 38/357 from my FFL today. Took my son to the indoor range and we ran some factory 38, cast 38, and factory 357 mag though it. Absolutely love it. Looking forward to taking it to an outdoor range.

Is that the first time the Browning single shot has gone Euro-metric? Is it factory? Neat regardless!

2 from an old guy in our Club who is downsizing and can't shoot handguns anymore as well. a S&W Mod 25 (125th Anniversary Model) in the presentation case with all the bits and bobs in 45Colt and a Winchester Mod 92 Rifle in 44WCF dated to 1913 manufacture. S&W is immaculate and shoots like a dream and the 92 is a good honest rifle that's showing it's mileage but is a good shooter too.

Yes Texas by God. Very factory
I’m a big 6.5 fan. Saw this, had to have it. It cost me my CZ 550 Lux in same caliber.
Here she is before she puts on a solid Leupold VXI 3-9x40 next to the CZ

Bought my almost 11 year old daughter a Savage .243 Compact. She just completed hunter's education yesterday. As soon as the weather warms up a bit more, we will get her out to the range and get her shooting skills up to par.
