What is the last gun you bought?

Have wanted to try a 6.5CM for a while now. Decided on Savage's new Stealth Evolution. First two 5 shot groups at 100 yards were less than half MOA. Will try to stretch it's legs farther out when the weather permits.

Found a Manurhin MR73 (357 Mag) with a 3" barrel and an unexpectedly low price... snatched it up quick... Shoots nice little groups using wadcutters with 2.7 grains of BullsEye...

Sig 1911R TACOPS. It's so tactical and so operative! Came with extra mags and in good shape for the price, and I wanted to find a reason to use my .45ACP Osprey piston. It shoots well, and now I'm considering one in 9mm as well if the price is right.

Embarrassing seeing all these nice guns! I've bought a few or, rather built a few in the last six months BUT my most recent purchase was from a buddy who always buys in the summer and then sells all winter.

It's actually a very nice H&R single shot 12-gauge, looks to be stainless receiver with a full length vent rib and interchangeable chokes, haven't seen too many like that......

.....but for $75 + 3 full boxes of shells I couldn't turn it down! Sorry no pictures.....

T/C Compass bought from Kentucky Gun last week. Super fast shipping, btw. 6.5 Creedmore. With rebate it's going to be about $200.

I went to the gunshow last week and got an Osprey 6x24x50 scope for it. My idea is a sub-$500 1,000yrd gun and I did it but I have seen ups and downs on that scope and Osprey's in general. It's not a US Optic or even a Vortex but the glass is pretty darn clear if the turret is a little mushy but it does have very positive audible clicks and turns smooth. We will see

That Uberti is pretty neat. It reminds me of some spaghetti westerns, where the gunfighter would swap out fresh cylinders when he fired off all of the loads in one. Did they make a 44 or 45 cartridge cylinder for it too?

Not to my knowledge. This one is designed in such a way that it would be extremely difficult to convert to a centerfire cartridge. That's fine with me, because I just wanted an updated cap and ball revolver. But you can buy the 1851 Navy or 1860 Army replicas and then buy a Howell conversion cylinder to convert them to centerfire. You can also buy the Richards and Richards Mason open top replicas which usually come in .38 Sp. or .45 LC. I will be looking for an extra cylinder for this revolver, as carrying two loaded cylinders afield would be much better than carrying the loading tool.
And, for the sake of convenience, you just about have to buy the loading tool with the revolver, as unlike the 1851 and 1860s it doesn't have a loading lever under the barrel. But I'm anticipating great times with this one, casting and shooting round ball and experimenting with conicals.

Wow, nice guns guys! I picked up an old Taurus 92AF (1991) the other day for 200.00. Shoots smooth as butter! Needs refinishing and one side of the safety/decocker lever was broke off but have another ordered.

I finished putting together my 6.5 Grendel upper yesterday. It turned out pretty neat with the side charging upper receiver on it too. The normal setup with the charging arm is still OK, but if you use a cheek rest, then it gets in the way of course.
