I've got to stay away the gunshops, Tuesday I picked up a rifle that I've been wanting for about 25yrs! A Ruger m77 RSI tang safety, in 308 of course. I can't hardly wait till I can shoot his baby, this thing should be a fire breathing dragon with its 18" barrel! Hehe. I have a scope, just need to get some rings.

Savage 11/111 in .260 Rem and Mossberg 464 in 30-30 and Knight Army 50 Cal inline. Was shopping around for pricing on the first two and found the Knight for 60 bucks at a pawn shop. Couldn't resist so got the inline also......with wifes permission first of course.

I'm starting to get withdrawal symptoms ... I haven't bought a new gun in ages now!

I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!

Picked up a Mossberg Shockwave, yesterday. The Davidsons Exclusive, marine coat receiver. This thing is awesome!

A 1962 XP-100 with a 1.3X Bushnell Fanthom scope, and case mint condition. The scope makes things look farther away.

WRA Service Grade from the CMP, completes the set of at least one from every manufacturer. About what I expected, the only WRA part is the '43 receiver, everything else looks to be late WWII or early postwar SA, with a CMP Boyd's stock. Unless the CMP armorers went out of their way to find all '43-'46 SA parts it looks like it might have been rebuilt between WWII and Korea then stored away.

CMP now has Field Grade WRAs for sale, I'm tempted to get one of those as well, should have a USGI or other military stock and maybe more WRA parts.

Nice find. that is a first year four digit S/N. I didn't check the year on the 221 one I bought but its not a four digit serial. Still looking for the 473 BF action.

Haven't bought anything in quite sometime. Starting to realize when longing for a new one? Its best to inventory what I already have.

It sounds like you are trying to inject a bit of common sense into equation there OverMax, haha!
