    It's my first time with a .44 mag, so I imagine it'll be a hoot! I've always been a .45 Cowboy man.

I've shot both & for me the 44 is easier to work with.

I shoot both and I love them both, but the 44Mag is a lot easier to live with, bullet proof brass.

Rossi '92 in 357 mag. 16 inch barrel. One of the worst mistakes I have ever made. Has spent so much time in Florida, it's eligible to vote. Still won't chamber 357 magnum. Gonna dump it as soon as possible.

Bought a NIB .22LR Browning semi-auto rifle (takedown) for my granddaughter a few weeks ago. She will get it when she grows up enough. She is 20 months old now. Already have .22 rifles for my other two grandkids. One is a Marlin Mountie and one is a Ruger 10-22 with a scope (both NIB). They are getting closer to receiving them, but are still a little bit young (4 and 5 years old).

    Chuckerbird,
Can you tell us more about the problems you had with yours?

Had both my 16" Rossi 92s tuned by the best SASS gunsmiths. They run real good. Sorry to hear about your troubles. The fit and finish of the Rossi 92s can be way below average.

Harry O,, My daughter got her SA22 octagon barrel as her 22nd B-Day present ,a 22 for her 22nd She always enjoyed shooting them, so I saved the pretty one for her! Wonderful little rifles!
On topic, last I bought was a vintage commercial Mauser in 30-06, beautiful wood and fine open sights! probably made in the 50s ,guessing on that but definitely built in Leige Belgium. Pretty good match for my Sako L46 of that period. Now I don't need to buy any more bolt guns,,,, OK,, right....

    Obxpilgrim,
It jams the bullit into the top of the chamber. If the cartridge is shorter then
1.570 it chambers OK. All my bullits have a crimp grove giving a COAL of 1.580 or longer. 38 special chambers fine.

I found a guy walking around with a 98Mauser that some one had made a custom sporter out of in years past chambering it in 30-06, I have no idea what to do it but it fallowed me home, so with not much in it I will just have to shoot it and find out how it does, if it shoots good I will just keep it around as it is, worst I could end up with is a Spainsh 98 Mauser action for another project.

I bought CZ75B a couple of days ago. It has had some trigger work and springs done to it.
