Get a Hi Point Carbine in 45ACP. Most fun for the least amount of money you will find and they also go bang with every pull of the trigger

Good bore and carried a lot, but for the price, I shouldn't be too disappointed. (Not being a Marlin that is)
I bought one of those a while back and it shoots great which reminds me that I have a nearly new 94AE in the safe that I have not fired yet. Time to cast up some and give it a try.

Last gun I bought was a Mossberg Patriot in 30-06 I got during the Christmas Sale. Loaded some 150gr Boattails up over 4064 and tried it out last week. With the Dead Ringer scope it came with my first loads came in pretty darn good. I changed the scope to a Nikon Prostaff (bought 3 during the sale at Cabelas, with a gift card they came in at $75 each) and have not doubt I'll get it to MOA or better.

It's amazing what less than $350 will buy you now. Not long ago you had to go north of $1,000 to get sub MOA on a regular basis from a stock production gun.

I am happy with it, apart from my trigger finger rubbing uncomfortably on the trigger guard, but I will make that a separate thread in the handgun section.
You need one of these for you new Glock https://usa.caagearup.com/roni-pisto...ine-conversion
They are cool enough that I have been thinking of buying a Glock just to buy one and try it out

jonp, cool bit of kit. My State has a law banning military lookalike firearms. The Archangel chassis for the Ruger Charger 10/22 handgun was pretty popular here, as was another chassis for the Glock, but the cops had a cow about the nasty looking things (we only have one Police Force in each State and the Commissioner has a fair bit of power so any thing he manages to get passed applies to the whole State). They found that they were unable to ban them, as they are only plastic and metal chassis / stocks after all, so we can own them, but are not allowed to fit them. Makes no sense. Take a very concealable handgun and make it too big to conceal???

The last gun I bought----was this used but exceptionally clean S&W Mod. 15 Combat Masterpiece. It had the original grips, but I changed them out for these made by Altamont, because I've developed some arthritis in my middle finger's joint which would get painfully banged by the rear of the trigger guard in recoil. These grips fill that space and everything is fine.

They sent me a coupon for $20 off on a purchase of $ 100 or more so I asked if it was good on the shotgun being it was priced at one cent under $ 100.

They said OK so I bought it. Surely don't need it, and have owned many already in 410, 20, 16, 12, and 10 ga. but for $ 85 OTD. I think it will be good trading material.

No pic but the gun looks as it may be unfired.

Good luck. I got into a tussle with a seller that tried to flame me and stop everyone from doing business with me over a neutral review which was well outside the rules. Gunbroker did nothing and I told them...stuff and have not dealt with that sight since. If the complaint is between you and a seller that does a little business with them you might as well save your breath

Fit them as in you can own the chassis but can't actually use it? That makes a ton of sense.

Before Christmas my wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas. This time I knew exactly and answered her question. She pondered a few seconds and surprised me when she said, "go ahead and get it". Which I immediately did!!!! A very nice, completely un-mucked with 1908 Mannlicher/Schoenauer. When it arrived the condition was even better than I expected. After about 5 weeks of load development I have very good cast and jacketed loads worked up for it.

Yeah gunbroker was no help. I sent payment via USPS MO though so I can still file fraud charges or whatever if I don't get my item. It was supposed to be a christmas present to myself, now I have no gun AND no money =/.

Mossberg 500 Pistol grip not a shotgun. I added a birds head grip and swapped out the front end for a 14 inch set up. Non NFA as it isn't a shotgun but an "other firearm". Ove 26" and no stamp needed. Ohio measures OAL or barrel length. Federal law doesn't measure barrel length on Other Firearms like they do Shotguns.
