I agree with cheggie. I got me one. Totally reliable. $279 with $30 rebate. Comes with 3 10rd. mags. Chambered in .40 S&W.

    Attachment 320135

What's not to like? I have a Lee 6 cavity mould, About 2,000 pcs of brass and a big box (1,000) of Rem. 180 gr. fmj-fp. I'm all set.
So many guns, so little time

Just picked up an early 788 in 30-30. Stock has a couple dings, but it’ll be a good refinish

Went to a gun show here in Mississippi with a Keltec sub 2000 in 40 cal. to sell. Saw a like new (never been shot probably) Mossberg 500 in 410
swapped the dude straight across. Since I had paid back in the day only 200 for the Sub. I got a pretty good deal'

NOTE: After patterning the shotgun I realized it patterned significantly to the left with all size shot. Finally had to put a low profile red dot on it to aim dead center. I'm still happy.....but, may explain the good deal.

Shot it same day with some 150 grain flat nose cast in front of 6.5 grains of red dot at 25 yards. 314 boolits are a little big for it, didn’t want to chamber all of them. But, all groups were quarter size or smaller. Not bad for no load work and an old Tasco scope. Rubbed some oil on the stock when I got home and it cleaned up nice. Out the door for $488. I feel good about it. Thanks for the compliments.

This week: Liegeoise D'armes Feu 12-bore double, near mint, a 'best' gun from Liege, made 1895, extra full left choke and full right.

Ruger P90. Dieselhorses sold to me and it looks good! Can't wait to get it to the range for a workout.
