I'm sure it's not my "last gun" lmao, but most recent was a Mossberg MVP LR 223/5.56. A real sweet shooting bolt action that is fed with AR mags. Added a Vortex crossfire 2, a bipod and sling. Oh, and a few..... hundred rounds.

Guess I've been downsizing instead of buying.

Gen 5 Glock 19. I avoided all plastic guns since their introduction because it just didnt feel right, a plastic gun. I've since seen to many Glock 19s with very high round counts that are still very serviceable handguns. btw this is the last chance for the 9mm to grow on me, Ruger, RIA, Beretta and Browning couldn't do it although I have been carrying a S&W m&p compact for a few years now in 9mm.

Jeff my Smith compact has been without fault as is the MP Pro 5" I have. The 9MM is what it is. It's not been interesting to me but certainly serviceable.

Just came home with a used Cooper M52 with an older Schmidt & Bender 3-12 scope. It is a 6.5x55mm.

Bought this 1924 vintage Winchester preA slow lock Model 52 in April. I love it, has the best trigger I’ve ever pulled. Got a good deal because of the stock being messed with. I tried to remove the evidence of a tang sight by rounding and blending the wrist as best I could and refinished it. Recut the sanded on grasping grooves with my mini mill. Looks good, shoots great. I did upgrade the sights with a Lyman globe front and a Lyman 48-J rear sight. Easier for me to see through than the factory sight.

Not really a new rifle. Bought a BCA upper a couple of weeks ago. A3 type with detachable carry handle, 20" heavy barrel, flash hider and regular handguards. Was ordered with a 1-8 twist but came with 1-7 (which is what I really wanted but wasn't listed as being available)I have everything to put together another lower but have been procrastinating. Took apart my Grendel (which has an A2 buttstock) and put it with the new upper, added a scope and went to the range to get it on paper. First indications are that this is going to be a good shooter. Probably my last build (but I said that when I did the Grendel and the 7.62 x39 before that). 5 total now, Old Colt H-Bar, DPMS M4 clone, M4 clone in 7.62 x39, 20" heavy barrel Grendel and the new 5.56 in A3. Bought the H-Bar Colt to shoot HI-Power 30 years ago and bought the new one to, maybe, give it one more shot now that they allow glass.

Marlin 1895GBL 45-70, installed an XS rail and a Leupold FX-II 2.5x28 scope with Warne QR low rings as well as a Montana sling. She's gonna spend a lot of time with me in the woods come hunting season.

Lol, I was kidding but I had a pair of them when I was a small boy and running around the house driving mom and dad crazy shooting bad guys. They somehow disappeared from the attic a few years ago but I know what you are saying, they were true classics, holster and all of which I had a pair of them. I'm 74 now but I'd still hang them from my bed post and my old saddle bags.
