That's simply too much to post at one time. It has to break some kind of rule.

    Besides I'm very jealous........

Hw does the 77/22 Hornet shoot smithnframe?
They are one sweet looking rifle. I have a lovely VariX11 2-7 Leupold just screaming out for one of them.

It shoots pretty good right out of the box.......the factory trigger is horrendous and I have a Timney ordered. I also got a vintage 3x9 Bausch & Lomb scope that I mounted for a classic look!

That will sit well atop of it.
I have a couple of Ruger American Compacts (223, 308) and was thinking of Timney Triggers. The cheapest I have found them at is $AU440!!!!!! I might be doing a DIY job on them!

You need to look into trying this bolt shim for your Ruger 77/22 Hornet. It will tighten up your groups.

I traded a mint older 700 ADL in .243. for a mint matte stainless 9mm CZ 75 B. Liked not having to pay sales tax. Would like to buy a CZ .22 bolt action rifle soon.

    S&W 625 JM.

Couple of years back. Was kind of done buying guns, already have plenty, but this one caught my eye as a used gun in a local dealers case and I’m a sucker for 45ACP in a revolver.

Ran across a Winchester 54 in 30 WCF at a gun show more recently, and was tempted, but they were asking a lot for it and I figured they were more interested in hanging on to it than I was in buying it.

Had an AR lower sitting on the shelf and thought I better do something with it before the election. PSA was having a sale this last weekend and I bought a 7.5in 223 pistol kit with a brace and a railed upper. Put a red dot on it and went to the range. Forgot to clean it and oil the bcg. Not the best outing, bolt failed to close 99% of the time. Got home, cleaned it top to bottom, scrubbed the chamber, oiled the bcg, and voila. Chambers and closes on my cast loads. Tuesday Im gonna send a few hundred downrange.

Went to the range affiliated gun/pawn shop yesterday and saw a nice looking Marlin 60. Knew it was older from the stock carvings and the longer barrel with matching length mag tube. Hard to justify after just building the above AR. Slept on it, went back to the range today and said if its still there Ill make an offer. Was still there with a tag of $200. Offered $150, no go. Pulled it out and it still has the stickers on it with a serial number from 1975, JM stamped. Offered $200 out the door and I ended up taking it home. Little more than I would usually pay for a Model 60 having got the last one for $110. But this one is nice and older. I think they will go up even though they made millions.

I walked past a shiny beauty today twice. On the third pass I saw that a few small boxes of ammo came with it.

I caved in and bought the heavy duty STAPLE GUN ... going under sale at Office Depot.

Same gun shop as last week, bought my third Model 60. This one was made in 04, no JM stamp, but made in Connecticut. Now I have a Mayfield rifle, a post JM Connecticut rifle, and a JM long barrel/long mag Connecticut rifle. Other than the barrel length, I cant tell the difference between them. All well made, good sights, nice finish, etc.

'84 vintage Winchester XTR /70.........with a Leupold 3/9 VX..........in '06.....only real caliber out there anyway.....rifle looks unused and I guess it'll replace my '48 70 in the same caliber........that piece is a surprise gift to a favored youngster this fall! Kinda hate to part with it as it's dropped more than it's share of game, caribou/bear/deer and one bison, but since I'm gettin' more than up there I want to be SURE it goes to whom I wish.

Anyway, the XTR is, to it's credit a lot lighter and groups well for the first couple of rounds anyhow!

I've never worked with an O/U double rifle and this is a pretty good deal.
