I have WAY too many ongoing project guns already so of course I bought another one! Couldn't help myself though ... a Winchester 1885 Low Wall w/ half octagon half round barrel in .38 WCF / .38-40 Winchester. Dates about 1901 or 1902 by the serial number. I do love single shot rifles. Just waiting for it to arrive in the mail ...
I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!

Had a field day on GB this Sunday. Ended up winning a Legend Series Springfield Armory Rob Latham Model 1911 and a Howa Precision Rifle In .308. Glad I have a comfortable couch. I stopped by my FFL today to have him email the FFL copy, and was happy at the purchase price reaction I received. Internet gun buying and Leinenkugel’s worked well for everything but my bank account. Pics will added next week when I pick them up. Already have the scope and rings inbound from Midway USA too. Can’t wait to play with them as all of my tags are filled, except my elk tag.

Marlin 783. No prize but nice. Stock looks like it was refinished. Not sure, but pressed checkering is rounded in a way that looks to have been lightly sanded. Excellent metal and blue.

Crown looked rough. Buddy of mine re did it and boy does it shoot. Really happy so far.

    Gun show purchase.

I have been looking high and low for a wooden stock for my 270Win Zasava M70 (I have a 375H&H and a 458WinMag, both with wooden stocks, I'd like them to match and the plastic is a bit noisy in our heavy bush).

My mate has already offered me $550 for it and I found that my friend's gunshop interstate is selling new wooden ones for $729. No brainer, one new Zastava is in the mail.

While I was looking for it I also found a post 64 Winchester Model 70 in 243 which has been a farm/truck gun and was too cheap to miss. I have a friend who has a 257 Roberts barrel for a model 70 in his shed if the 243 barrel is completely shot out I'll get the barrel off him. I have buckets of 243 brass, bullets, etc, so if it shoots ok, I'll leave it as a 243 for awhile.

I'll post pics as soon as they arrive. Both coming from interstate.

I wound up with a Walther PPK/S during a pre-Black Friday Sale at a large LGS in the area. I couldn't pass up the deal. Plus they included a brick of .22's for it too.

Picked up a Zenith MC23C 9mm like this one except it's the compact DA version https://www.cdnnsports.com/zenith-mc...l#.XAK_42hKjrc for $199 on Black Friday. $209 total shipped.

Great gun as I already have one.

That's nice! Looks like you saved $40. The price has jumped back up to $239 now, and they show only 3 remaining in stock. I signed up for their e-mails!

    Astra 32 Smith and Wesson.

I would have loved a Smith and Wesson 32, but I havn't seen one for many years and have never seen one for sale. This will do nicely in teh meantime.

LGS had this semi crusty Single Six for $225. I like the 5-1/2" barrel; I've never owned that length. The grips are being replaced first!

    Good Deal !
I use to find them 4-5 years ago at good prices like that and I would pick them up.
