Cz p10c...am impressed. Has all the features that kept me away from the g19. Nice trigger, ballard rifling, ergo slide and mag release (am lefty), much more affordable, AL (not plastic) sights, no finger grooves (realize only an issue on some glock gens)...

Picked up a NIB Ruger SR1911 10mm a couple of months ago. When I got back into guns after many years away I had decided that as much as I loved 10mm I was going to stick to 45acp and until the SR1911 I was able to do just that. But when a friend offered me the Ruger for only $400 my resolve broke.

Taurus Tracker .44 Mag snub, 2-1/2" non-ported. Weighs about 30 ounces and works great for pocket carry (in an Uncle Mike's pocket holster) around the homestead when I don't want to strap on a holster. I've been shooting it with 215 grain Lee RN over 5.7 WST in .44 Special brass, and Lee 240 SWC-TL over 7.0 Green Dot in Magnum brass. Also have some Speer shot capsules on the way from Midway.

French 1777 flintlock Dragon. Built in 1815. Didn’t go through the wars that many of the older models did, therefore in much better condition. I still had to spend a lot of time going through it to get it as close to new as possible. I plan to shoot it tomorrow and see if I can hit the side of a barn with it.

Yes, James 73, tell us about this rifle. Caliber? Scope? Action? Origin? Inquiring minds want to know!

Just purchased a couple of new lefty’s. First is a Savage Storm in .223 with a 1-8 twist. Main use is for coyote control off the back porch. Second is a lefty CZ557 push feed in .308. Walnut stock and blued steel.

Most recent gun purchase is a 1968 Winchester model 94. I regret selling two previous 94s because they should so well. It's in 30-30 and I've only taken it to the range once. It would not print anywhere on a target at 50 yards and I'm trying to figure out my next move, trying to sight it in.

Consistant 3/8 in for 3 rounds at 100yds off of sandbag.Would put a 20 rnd box into 11/16 to 3/4 inch at the same distance. Was glass bedded with Brownells Acra Glass and used a K4 weaver with the duplex reticle.Like a fool let it get away.

Star BM, just finished assembling it from parts. When the first wave of BMs hit our shores I purchased 2 of them. I liked them a lot, and when the opportunity came up to buy a frame that contained most of the parts for $39.50 I jumped on it. I figured someday the other parts would come along. It's been a long time now, and I noticed that J&G Sales is selling parts as well as complete pistols. I ordered all of the parts needed, which included the entire top half of the gun, a magazine, two frame parts, and grips from 4S in Texas. I haven't penciled it all out yet, but I know that to complete this project cost more than if I would have ordered a complete pistol, and made no sense economically. But....I hate unfinished projects.
Anyway, I learned (or speculate that I learned) why that circular swirl mark appears on the current batch. It is not on the first two that I purchased years ago, and it is not on the frame of this one, but is on the slide. Apparently the Garda Civil property mark has been obliterated. Shown below is the completed pistol and one of the earlier examples.

My latest acquisition is a late 1880's WW Greener hammer SxS 12 bore, "The Trap Gun". These were a heavy 12 or 10 bore shotgun designed for shooting in live pigeon competitions or for shooting glass target balls. This is the type of shotgun that Bogardus, Carver, and Ira Paine would have used in the heyday of target shooting challenges. This one will go along very nicely with my modest glass target ball collection (about 60 + target balls so far), but I do plan to shoot it a bit too.

"Barn Grade" guns are still good guns! (I have a few of those as well as my "museum grade" guns ...)

I had a CBC 32/20 which a friend had used for years to win the long range single shot pistol calibre match at a nearby range. I sold it for what I paid for it ($100) to a friend and it is back on the mound winning that match against some pretty fancy and very expensive rifles, haha!

As a lad i looked at the FIE( CBC) guns every time Dad took me into Whites Auto. I thought the H&R Toppers to be superior at the time but I was wrong. These are overbuilt rock trucks of a shotgun.

Both good bits of kit I have always fancied one in 22Hornet. They sold them as a combo here with a spare 12Ga Barrel from memory.
