I passed on a Webley, one of the big ones in .455, a few years ago and have kicked myself since. Nothing is as old school cool as those are.

Well, not exactly new, but it’s been in the safe for a long time. Got curious about it after seeing one on another web site, so I dug it out. Realized my Brazilian S&W 1937 .45ACP has “BNP” proof marks ( Birmingham Nitro Proof ), so it’s seen service somewhere in the British Commonwealth. Anyone familiar with these with BNP stamps?

That's a prime piece, Mike. I don't know if there's more to know about the BNP marking than what you already know that it means. There are lots of British proof marks, but I think that one is kind of general that appears on all arms that they proof. Is your revolver made by Colt? That really conjures up some imaginative speculation about how a Brazilian revolver got into British possession/service. Maybe clear back in WW II when the British were scouring the non-Axis world for weapons. Kind of like how they used a lot of Argentine Ballister Molina pistols. Many of these weapons that were non-standard to British Service were sold off after the war.

Ruger PCC followed a Kel Tec Sub2000 Gen2. I am into IDPA PCC shooting. Also bought to tick off Trudeau and is gun grabbing Liberal Party that hopefully will be out of office come October. Ruger has a winner with the PCC and Kel Tec has an interesting piece of kit with their Sub2K.

Had to have one. I waited long enough. I hope to shoot it tomorrow. It handles well and is tight.

Three months ago I picked up a Browning B78 in 30-06. My understanding was these rifles had a 1:12” twist rate, so they would work well with cast in the 06. This rifle shoots the j-words incredibly tight! Love those rifles!

Yesterday I ordered a G2 Contender in 30-30 Winchester. I Hope the chamber was cut so that I can easily reach the lands with cast! That one could be fun as well!

Bought 2 recently, a 1917 Savage .380 and a Mannlicher 7.63 1905 Brazilian. Working on the out of print ammo for the 7.63. Going to be a challenge. Hopefully will pick them both up Tuesday at my ffl guys. He’s already got the 380, just waiting for the Mannlicher to arrive.

Swiss K-31 with diopter sights and a target from the past owner showing 5 shots at 100 yards, covered by a quarter, along with the load data to replicate the load he was using.

I added to the herd this past week. Spent some time with a friend, fishing, in SoDak, and he has owned a pair of CMP purchased 22 rifles since the early part of the 2000s. One is a H&R model 12(I have wanted one of these since the early 80 when I read a review in a gun rag). The other is a Remington Model 513T US marked. This unit is a little rough with some rusting(patina) on the metal and some dings in the wood. I owned a late version of the 513T from my late teens until my late 30s early 40s? Foolishly sold it and always had some sellers remorse. Got some extras(sights and sight inserts). Paid his asking price. (probably less than he would have gotten on-line) These will go nicely with my CMP Kimber 82! Lastly, before my departure on the trip, one of the local shops got in a new Ruger 10-22. This is the one with no sights, a scope base installed and a plastic stock. This one is in light gray. I didn't buy but on the trip decided that if it was still on the shelf, when I got home, it would be mine. It was, and it is now mine! I have a real weakness for 22s. I have probably owned 50 or more in my life and now own 20 or so. My friend, who a little younger than my 70 years is starting to sell off a few guns,(the ones his son and grandkids aren't interested in) and has promised me first refusal on his Marlin 336 in 35 Rem. (Early 50s gun with 20 inch barrel and half magazine) if he decides to sell. All and all a good week for my gun collection!

Couldn’t pass it up. It came with the original grips as well. This little 9mm changed my mind about Kimber and officer sized 1911’s. It shot jacketed bullets in fmj and jhp perfectly. Time to order a nice IWB holster and practice a lot more before it takes over as a carry weapon.

Picked up a Ruger American in 350 legend. Shoots well with the 145 fmj factory stuff, but the action feels like the gun was shipped over to the sandbox to be packed, after it was dropped in the sand and not cleaned. Roughest action I think I have ever had
