Now I know where to send my OLD Bullseye and Herco metal 1# cans.

Then I will have to look for the 30-06 brass that I bought a few years ago loaded with red WOODEN bullets for supposed projectiles, they split into 4 pieces after traveling only 2-4 feet from the snout of the BBL.

Now I need to know where to send the box when it warms up a little more than -2 ?

Bill, I'll send you an address. Max, I have a few shotgun shells that have been donated along with other cases but I really don't seek them out. The powder can that I'm displaying had a $7 price sticker on it and I have a Hodgdon can with a $4 sticker on it. I don't really collect them either.

A few days ago I received a package from JimB with a 360DW case. It looks like a 357 Mag case, maybe a 10th of an inch longer.

Thanks JimB! I appreciate everyones donations, please keep me in mind if you have or find anything that I don't have. Happy New Year everyone!

Is the list in the first post current? I have several cases not listed there. I'll check back and look for your address as well.

Hi Leadman, yes the list is in my first post. As long as the site will let me edit it I will try to keep it current. I'll send you a PM, and thanks for the interest.

Lightman do you have a "bumble bee" yet? I have a few laying around that were acquired from the estate of a well-known wildcatter... it is a 218 Bee necked-down to accept a 17 cal projectile. Most that you see have issues in the neck area... these are super clean. One of them has your name on it in the next shipment unless you already have one.

I'm pretty sure that I don't have one. You're really doing me right, at least let me pay some of the shipping cost! And Thanks!

I've been busy lately with deer season coming to an end, the New Years holidays and Duck Season in full swing. I got 3 different care packages last week with contributations to my collection.

The first was a trade with Gandog56, a member on the Ammo Brass Traders Forum. He sent a 303 British case with a Greek head stamp, a 6.5 Creedmore, an 8X56Rs with a bullet, an 8X56RS with a bullet and a really cool Nazi head stamp, a 32 H&R Mag, a 7.65(32 auto European) and a 32 NAA case.

    The next was from member Leadman with a 25-35 Win, 22 K Hornet, 45 Colt balloon head case, a 7.62 X 38R Russian, a 30 GNR ( a wildcat formed from a 30-30 case by Arizona gunsmith Gary Reed), 375 Weatherby, a 8 X 57 RD rimmed Danish made from a 45-70 Gov, 2 43 Mauser cases dated back to 1887 and 1888 ( possibly the oldest in my collection), a 30-40 Krag with a REM-UMC 30 USA head stamp, a 25-20 Marlin (UMC) head stamp, 7.5 X 55, a 40-65 Win formed from a 45-70 Gov, 325 WSM, 225 Win ( with a ? on head stamp), 6 PPC formed from a 220 Russian case, 6.5 Creedmore, a 410 X 73 Mag ( Russian 410 brass shotshell ), 41 Mag w/ cast bullet, 7 X 30 Waters formed from a 30-30 Win and a 32 S&W balloon head WRA head stamp.

The next was from member Maxreloader. This was Max's second contribution. ( Thanks my Friend ) This included a 5.56 blank, a 7.7 Jap (Norma), 2 7.62 X 51 ( RA 62 and WCC 57 ), military 30-06 in Den 43, TW 53, RA 55 Tracer, SL 54, a FC case with an AP bullet, a 30-06 Super Speed, a RP 30-06 Accelerator, an unknown rimmed bottleneck, 22 Mag shot, 30-40 Krag, a 243 Win Nichol, a 7.62 X 59 Dag head stamp, 300 H&H Super Speed, 358 Win, 338 RCM, 7.5 Mars (IMPA 1945 ) head stamp, 30 Rem AR, 17 Rem, 257 Roberts Super Speed, 28-30 Peters, a 10 mm, 32 Long Colt, 32 S&W Long, a 40-38 p370 111W1, a 43 3E CCC, 308 Norma (Norma RE), an unknown rimmed cartridge with a yellow tip bullet, an FMM APB11 1945, and a 35 Rem. also included were shotshells in 3-1/2 in FC (steel) a 12 ga Roitweil Bkenneke (?) slug, a 28 ga Win and a 410 slug in a plastic case. I'm still in the process of researching some of these!

You Guys are Awesome! Thanks for being so generous! I'm in the process of updating the list and I will make a post after I do more research on Maxreloaders donations.

Since my post from last week I have researched the cases that Maxreloader sent. To me, this is part of the fun of this collection! One was a 43 Egyptian or a 11.43 X 50, 577 X 450 Martini-Henty, 7.5 X 54 MAS, 8mm Mauser, 7.65 Argentine Mauser, 6.5 X 52 Carcano, 7.35 Carcano, 7.5 X 53 Swiss Rubin, 2 different 7.62 X 54R Russians, one with a yellow tip bullet and 2 different 7.62 X 51 cartridges with foreign head stamps.

Max, how did I do on identifying these? And many Thanks.

Well, it seems like my collection has taken a new direction! I started out just trying to get one each of as many different calibers that I could. Its now branched out to different headstamps and loaded rounds. I have also added several loaded rounds found at gunshows and from friends.

Member 472X1B/A sent the cases in the picture below.

I also received a dummy round in 375 Ruger from member Cheap870.

I'm working on updating my list. I appreciate all of the donations, you Guys are Awesome!
