Finished fitting 2 rollover black pieces (carbon) today. Now i can finish the other 2 parts that go on top of these 2 parts. THIS IS A MOLD BUILD, WHEN FINISHED IT WILL MAKE CARBON FIBER UNIBODIES.

Curb feelers and a nodding head dog will make it go faster.

Why dont you buy one. You could use it for a suppository and place it where the sun don't shine.

Then i'll be rich as six feet up a bulls ---.

That's quite the project. That's some great worksmanship. I've wanted to try making some custom CF motorcycle parts for a good while now, but haven't really had the time.

I'll stick to my traditional 2 wheeled bikes for now though.

Much work finished at rear bulkhead of the mold. But much filling and sanding togo!

Mold is on rotisserie and six wheels.

I've taken some classes at BCC, and the academy is there. They actually dropped one of the C's from the name and just call it Broward College now, because they started doing at least one bachelor's program.

It must've been something to have cabbies that weren't fresh off the boat.

Lester's is still there on SR84. I've been there many, many times before. It's funny that I knew it as a nice family oriented type of place going there for breakfast with my parents Sunday morning. It's a whole different world at 4am after the clubs have emptied out.

I'm pretty sure Brownie's is still there on Andrews as well but I've never been in there.

Things have definitely changed around here, just since I was a kid. My parents bought a place in the mountains 10 years ago and don't even like visiting here anymore.

My parents are outside of Blue Ridge, GA. More and more transplants are winding up there.

Making a plug for rear rollover Raingutter behind your head. You can hold a water hose on here and the gutter will have plenty of run-off. I shape with grinders and pointy sander from harborfreight, then shapeing by hand a lil before covering with fg,micro balloons and epoxy. Then wet sanding a priming/polishing for few days/weeks. Then lay cfiber over plug to make the gutter. Then store plug in attic.

New pic. Now Iam finishing the frt wheel well area now. Blk carbon pieces cleico'ed in place. Will roll mold upside down tomorrow and skin the 4 places. Then roll back uprite, fill with micro and epoxy and sand for days before priming with 2K primer. I will polish and wax mold before layup and final is (water based) mclube 818 which is sprayed on. The carbon fiber shell unibody will be trimed, washed, painted, and wrapped for advertisement. Then install hardwares, this should be a first class velomobile.

Well it seems like a whole lot of work to make one of these by hand.
And that's coming from a part time professional blacksmith LOL

    Keep at it. looks good.

Any mold/tool is work. alot of work. If you hired someone nowdays to make you a mold/tool it would be a small fortune.

But, when mold is finished, its gets fun and simple/ make 2 cf shells per month.

Thanks, well when l get the mold finished in next couple months, l can make one every 10 days (or 2 per month) and have it boxed & ready for anyone.

Paint or wrap, order & install hardwares is for the customer. And that is super easy for bicycle people. Even l did it, riding the prototype mule for 5 months (pics here). Never owned nothing more than a 3sp hub all my life/now 9 & 10 speeds.
