Go ahead spend the money then...I'll take the world of someone like Desert Deuce, a nationally recognized champion shooter and spotter, and a good friend, any day. I also know Semtav personally, I'll take his word as well. And as I said you can read what they both had to say about that system on the Shiloh forum... If you don't want to pm Semtav here and ask him about his experience with the thing, he just got it in the last month or two..
Long range rules, the rest drool.

It never fails. Give a guy some good advice and they start an argument, or try too. Let him buy that thing and after a few setups he will say....I should have put that money in a good scope.

now, i dunno if this camera target thing is the best thing since sliced bread or just a total waste of dollar$, but unlike you don, i won't go poo-pooing based solely on word-of-mouth comments by anyone.

saying "it doesn't work" with zero hands-on exerience is quite diff'rent than saying "talk to folks who've used it". i'll be checking in with some other users, as i had long since planned to do.

but thanx for your help, don .....

I know those two guys D McD is talking about. If they are having problems with that thing you can take it to be straight talk.
You have a good scope use it and use that money for a good rifle instead.

i hear ya, keith, and i'll be sure to chat with those folks.

i already have a few good rifles and $300 or so ain't breaking my bank IF there's some validity to that camera system.

We used one today on the paper target and it worked okay, our problem was my spotter getting the Screen he was recieving on at the right angle so he could show me hits. The last shot flashing is nice. We didnt try it on the gong. But it did work and the number shots were nice. The range we were on faces south and seeing hits with the spotting scopes can be hard at certain times of the day. It seemed to work pretty well for us though today. he has the app on his phone so he sets up and adjusts while down range also.

many thanx for your input, cg.

i figured that screen viewing would be some kind of issue at some time. i would be using a small laptop, so perhaps a makeshift hood would be a good aid when in strong light. having that shot-by-shot acknowledgement -and shot recall- would be a real boon for sighting in and working up loads.

what distance were you folks shooting at?
