    To ALL!
    I get 150 to 200 e-mails a day.
Some get lost in the fray - what can I say.
We are 4 to 6 weeks behind and on top of that Matt is training on the new tool grinder.
We are very much alive and turning out moulds as fast as we can.

I try to stay on top of the phone so if you have pressing questions give me a call 801 377-7289.
But if you are just calling to bust my chops about not having any inventor don't waste your time or mine.
We are doing what we can.

We do appreciate each and every one of you as customers and are trying to get out what you want.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I have always had swift and prompt replies to my e-mails to NOE. Within 24 hours, Al has gotten back to me with the answers I needed. Can't speak for "out of stock" molds but I've ordered two different olds from them in the past month or so - both arrived within several days. Excellent molds and good people to deal with.

I have tried to put a mold that was out of stock in my cart but the site did not permit me

it would be nice to be able to do so knowing that there would be a waiting time this waiting time could be mark beside the out of stock item so you would know when to expect delivery

this would save a lot of phone calls and e-mail also and give Mr.Nelson more time to do the good works he does on his mold because I never heard a bad comments on his work…..

I've only purchased one of his molds before, but I'm very happy with it. I'm perfectly happy to wait for the new mold. I'm sure it will be every bit as good as the first and well worth the wait.

I'm about to jump on this mold since I don't think it will last to long!

Al is first rate, so are his moulds. With his production methods he has to make a given number of moulds to make a profit. If he fails to make a profit we all suffer. If you need a mould right away Tom (Accurate) will oblige you with an excellent mould but he doesn't offer the RG (HP) option at this time. Tom's process is different so if you want something a bit odd he'll make it happen, within his parameters. Give him the dimensions and alloy and you'll have a mould inside of a month, probably sooner.
Al makes his moulds with cherries, cherries cost money. He's making his own these days but the equipment and labor are expensive. Tom uses a different process but he can only make certain shapes of moulds.
If there's a special mould you want, see how it fits within their business models. You won't be disappointed if you understand the process.

Yes, Al Nelson (NOE) is a busy man. When I send him an e-mail I generally get an answer during the weekend. I hope to shake his hand some day and drink a cup of coffee with him but we're better served if he's out in the shop turning out his first-rate moulds.

Yes they will size down, no problem. You will need a sizer anyway. But .402 may work better in your barrel, I don't know.

Maybe you don't need a gas check. But for hot loads it may be beneficial. And it could make it easier to get a good load. I'd prefer it in a 10mm.

Each and everyone is a work of art.

Unless you are ares stuck on a gas check, you don't need to order it that way. There are plain base versions of that same boolit available on the upstream page.
    This one for instance. http://noebulletmolds.com/NV/product...oducts_id=1337

I take that as meaning he wants an RG mold (hollow point)

Yes, you are right, I would like a HP mold. Sorry I'm not all that clear on the numbering system.

Don't give up just yet Canuck.....Al's moulds are worth the wait.

I waited a few months for a run to be made of a particular 4 cavity 9mm GC mould , I bugged him every now and then. Worth the wait...you bet your life it was.
I spotted a favorite Lyman 38/357 design , 3 cavity , in stock and couldn't stop my self from ordering it , I pressure cast with a ladle and the 4 cavity is tiring to my old hand...the 3 cavity is baby bear...just right.
Casting with those two Sat. and Sunday has put a smile on my face that's still there.
    Just wait...it's worth it!

Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack this thread. I just got carried away with impatience!
I've ordered the recommended mold from NOE. Now to find some gas checks!
