The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

You will be very happy with his work SSG. True custom guns have always been my passion and Ric is VERY good at it, I've seen his work. He worked for a custom gun outfit for a number of years and done work for several members here. A longrifle he did for a member was beautiful and unfortunately when the fellow had to sell it I was broke or I would have snatched it up instantly.

I have been shooting an 1884 rifle that belongs to a friend of mine. The metal is in excellent condition but someone cut down the stock years ago when they were five dollar rifles. When my friend bought the rifle it came with the bayonet, cleaning rod and other accessories. The problems I have are the monstrous trigger pull and the tiny sight blade and even smaller v notch. Given all that, it is still fun to shoot.
