    Star Luber Fulcrum Lever

I'm looking for info on how to correctly adjust the opposing bolts on the fulcrum Lever. Should they be equal fore and after? I was looking at the loobers I have and see they are not the same. Up till now I was happy if it worked. Now I want to know more.

So how are the rest of you doing it?

If you bought another, what steps would you go thru for initial setup?

Back to your question, no the opposing bolts do not have to be equally adjusted. I use mine fully closed.

Obviously it changes the lever arms stroke length. What I'm wondering is why?

Is it to push more lube?
Or to modify the handle position at each push?
Or to adjust for wore parts?
Or just put there to confound my thinking.... Lol.

When the star sizers are set up at Magma there is a bit of random luck to the equation, so each star needs some adjustability.

Basically, who ever sets it up puts the brass plunger at half stroke, not half way in, but half way through its stroke. The vertical arm that pushes the wax plunger is held in place and the pivot drilled. The opposing bolts are to adjust the plunger stroke, as each machine is a bit of a snowflake in how it gets assembled.

The longer you make the opposing bolts, the more wax will be injected per stroke, effectively raising the lubing pressure at the bullet.
