    Heavy 32-20 ordered from Dan

    Here's the pic a the all new 32-20 Fillitupper...will fit my Brownin' 53 like a glove...



    135Grains n seats ta bottom of case neck in trimmed to length brass feeds like grease its just a bit longer Lyman #3118 with a crimp groove added so I can load em out ta barely engrave n added the extra length gained ta the base addin' 20Grs. a punch...

    Yupper- thats pretty much what I had in mind. I was aiming or 125-130 grains but kept stalling on wheter I wanted a GC or not and metplat size. The only problem with Dans program is it lets you play and design 5 or 6 good looking choices. I can never make up my mind. MIne was for a Savage 23 bolt gun. Please post a range report ASAP! Nice job.

    32-20 MM boolit

    DoubleJK.......Would you please forward the meas. for your MM boolit (see profile for email address or better yet just post meas. for all ) as I have a B53 that I would like to shoot a heavy boolit in... and your's looks perfect!!!......Jim Taylor over at www.leverguns.com article section under "Marlin 1894CL Make Over" has all sorts of neat loads to include heavy ones for the 32-20 if you have'nt already seen them before.......thanks and cheers mic

    Measurements

    Tried pastin' the page from Dan's site...no go
    but its a PB Bore Rider with a .305" nose and Front band length of .70" total nose to top of .45 crimp goove is .350"...meplat is 72% 3 body bands with .07 lube ratio...all bands are .313" outa WW's...
    Ifin' anybody wants ta try em I'd be happy ta send a sample soon's it show's up...

    Thanks John...yes I would like to try some but there would most likely be issue's with customs so don't bother...thanks any way.....if they shoot good in your B53 I'll order the same mold but with a gas check....cheers mic

    Got in from the deer hunt tanight n this mold from Dan was on the table waitin' fer me....WOW....just ordered it 5 days ago...

    That's encouraging news. I just ordered a pair of 2 cavity Iron molds for my 45-70 & 450 Marlin in different weights from Dan last week. Maybe I won't have to wait a month after all!

    Got some cast

    Got a chance ta cast a few a these new Fillituppers tanight...
    boy do I like these brass molds a Dan's...easy ta get nice boolits outa em right from the get-go...
    here's a pic of em...

    .314-120 #3118 MM135
    for comparison the boolit on far left is one a the .314-120 group buy's and the center is Lyman #3118 and far right is the MM135 Fillitupper...
