    No more hammer

Someone must have thought of this already, but I've never seen it. For years, I've been using a hammer on various milsurp front sights and was going to do the same thing to my newly acquired 71/84 Mauser. Was almost going to make a screw actuated sight adjuster on my mill, but then I had a new idea. Why not use a vise grip for the power and make an adapter for one of the jaws to clear the sight. Adapter is a .25 x .25 x .75 piece of aluminum with a .25 wide slot to clear the sight. Works great.

The only amendment the Democrats support is the 5th.

Well, that is pretty much how a commercially made sight pusher works--two opposing forces--but your version is much less expensive! Good thinking.
