    Happy Monday

I like the Lee molds for my 50-70 but there is not enough mass and they heat up real fast. I wish NOE made the same profile.

My solution is to run my NOE 311284 followed by the Lee 515-500 followed by the Lee 515-450 in sequence. It has been a fun Monday night. Temps stayed abut right with all the molds.

My lead Pot does not have a temp control other than high and low. I run it on low.

Nice setup, for your lead pot heat control, it would be a very easy pot to control with a PID. It is possible that even on Low, you are running hotter than needed for the LEE and NOE molds.

Very warm/comfy looking setup, do you open the damper in the fire place to act as a natural hood to remove smoke and heat from your casting?

I should be asking about your casting set-up. But I'm new here and distracted by what looks to be a colonial vintage home, very neat and interesting.

Change two or three small items and that setup could be bullet casting in the revolutionary war, meant in a good way.
