    Question Rifle Value...

Don't know where to put this so here it is...

Does anyone have a Gun Value Book and could look me up the approximate value of a Remington that I would like to trade...

It is a 7600, synthetic stock, 22" barrel, in 243 caliber...

Never fired, N.I.B. I never cared for the caliber and I hate black "plastic" stocks. I won it in a raffle many years ago...

    Thanks...BCB

Gun broker gets stupid high prices for guns. Around here it would bring 450-500 based off who was paying the transfer fee. Unless you are a dealer if its not on the shelf as new then its used. Fired or not. Price has a lot to do with area. Many do not like plastic and or pumps in my area.

This one has glass and gets the NICS check done for free. http://www.armslist.com/posts/477878...n-the-country-

I think it would be a tough sell around here. I'd guess $400

Yep, I have been offered between $350 and $400 trade-in on an Encore rifle...

I actually would do much better with the end result--The Encore--if I could just purchase the receiver and not the stocks/forend...

I can get the wood butt stock/forend cheaper from Boyd's and the barrel cheaper from Ed's Contender...

Oh well, T/C has got to make money also--and they do that for sure...

    Thanks...BCB
