    35 Whelen "Trainer"

I load a Lee 158 PBRN TL bullet with LLA lube over 3.0 grains of B.E. in reformed 30-06 military cases that have the flash holes opened up and primmed with WW LP primmers. This load gives me 1.25" groups at 50 yards. More than needed for tree rats or off hand practice. I did not chrono this load. I am shooting this out of a 700 Rem classic. Very mild and cheap. Bullets sized to .358"

There seems to be room for a "training wheel" pun but it is eluding me.
Knowledge I take to my grave is wasted.

I prefer to use cartridges born before I was.

Success doesn't make me happy, being happy is what allows me to be successful.
