Season? What do you do before using a brass mold?

Typically clean it thoroughly with alcohol and heat cycle it three times. NOE has directions on their site I think, if not nose around here on the forum, it's around. You will see the mold get a little darker, I think it's a light oxidation. It helps the mold release the bullets a little easier.

Got mine! The large pin is huge and it looks like it's going to make really deep hollow point boolits!

Just cast some with the short pin plain base. with 50/50 pure/coww I am getting 145 grains +- .3 of a grain. not bad. Pin diameter with the small pins is good. Bullets drop out of the mold like ice. Nice and easy. Off to powder coat.

Guess I'll be the first with a picture:

They drop 145 / 149 / 154 grains and are .360 using pure lead (I was casting for BPCR when this arrived). Like xacex said, they drop like ice, no matter what pin is used.

Got mine today minus the little allen headed screw that secures the cutting plate tightness adjusting screw. Note to Miha.

I asked for a couple of these hex head screws and got at least 6 in a package today, didn't count them. Miha is a great person to deal with and I want to thank him.

Glad you got your mold. I have ordered several of his molds from various designers and have yet to be disappointed. Tracking info for all of my molds has never been provided. I have no idea if that is even a possibility.

Tried 3 powders today to see what was quietest out of my SBR and suppressor. Out of what I have here, red dot, Universal, and tightgroup the tightgroup will be what I end up using for now. I like not having to change my die set up between the Mihec 125 grain bullet and this one. Zubrato hit it out of the park with this one in my opinion. Fits and works about as good as one could ever expect.

It is M4x4. It is DIN 913. Should be available in hardware stores. I can also send one to you.

Received my mold this morning! Amazing quality, almost too nice to use haha. I now have 2 brass molds, one from Miha and one from NOE. Thanks again!

Got my mold today, no thanks to the postal service. They were finally able to track it down at the post office, it should have been re-delivered but instead it was slated to go back to the sender. Whew! what a pain that would have been.

mine came without the 4 rods that screw into the pins. the rods that slide back and forth in the mold body. Can you possibly send them to me. Mold isn't useable without them. Sent you a pm about this

I finally got mine today.

It's still in the box since I had some storm prep to get busy on. Looking at some other replies, I better lay out the pins to make sure everything is there. The large HP pin looks massive. I can't wait to get some cast up.
