    Sr 4756???

Thought this powder was a thing of the past? Was at the gun range last week and they had a fresh shipment of it. I bought a pound. Would of mouth more but it was $33.

I plan on using it for slugs and buck. Heard it was the bees knees for slugs. I'm playing around with Lee key drives, blue sabots from BPI, and Hammerheads.

Haven't seen that powder in almost 2 years, I have about 1/2 lb left. Its the best powder I have used for the SPW in 20ga. Glad you found some

I inherited some for use with long range goose loads. I have yet to use it.

I originally got a couple of 8 pound kegs back in the day and have used 4756 successfully in 9mm and for light loads in the 44 Mag, I also tried it in the 45ACP and it worked ok. Always burned clean and grouped well when properly adjusted. LLS

I use SR 4756 for 3 inch 12 gauge buckshot loads. It works great for this. I haven't seen it for sale for a few years.

I would buy the SR 4756 now because Hodgdon did discontinue this powder a couple of years ago. 4756, 4759 and some other fine powders are no longer listed by Hodgdon on their website.

I will be on the look out for a new shipment in my area. I had part of a can that I had had for 30 years. I wanted to use it up. I loaded some 9MM and was surprised at the results. I will buy more if found.

Found an 8 ounce can with 2 ounces in it at a gunshow, last fall. Paid a buck for it ... and looking for more.

Contacted IMR. It's been 3 years since they've stopped making it.

What are their business hours? I would call them if I knew when they're open.

Excellent powder for the forty Cal. Great performance, lower pressure, no chance of double charge
