    Newly made 319323

For those of you that shoot Schuetzen matches, here is a bullet that you may be interested in and it will work in a 16 twist or faster barrel.

The original mold "B" was made for breech seating in a 16 twist barrel, with a base band of .323 dia. It was designed buy a top shooter, at the turn of the 19th century, named W. H. French. A competitor of Pope and Rowland and other of that time period.

It can be in your hands within 60 days. The reason for that is, that I have 18 guy's at ASSRA (as of 2/9, there are 30 signed up) that have ordered and Al has started on it.

Can the variation "B" be ordered? My old Douglass barrel is a true .319"
Are there any other options from the prints like small band diameter adjustment to the taper?

    Any other questions?

I think "A" would be best for the .319 groove barrel.

Your right! On second look, I think so too.
I need to check the twist again. I was thinking it is 16 but it might be faster.

It will give excellent accuracy in faster twists but, won't stabilize in the slower twist like the 32 Ideal, it's a 20 twist, I believe.

    OK,
I'm shooting Hoch's standard offering right now, NP .322-205, I think it is.
It seats OK, I have a Paul Jones that is 323" on the base and it is both hard to breach seat and creates a nasty fin and sometimes a loose ring of lead.
I also have a copy of the Darr 200gr pointed but it is even larger by a half tho. As bad a fit as the Darr bullet is, it acts like it really wants to shoot but I can't deal with the hard to load aspect and shaved lead.

These are great bullet molds for a larger barrel but not for this rifle.

I will think on this and see.
As you know, we are always just one bullet mold away from perfection!

This mold can be in your mail box, on or before, April 12th, in the sizes listed and with a GC option. Aluminum 2 cav is only $67.15 with the group buy discount.

This is a original, target, BP bullet. It can also be used in GEW88's (.321) and 98 Mausers.

Good move, may be awhile before this mould runs again. Frank and Al have teamed up for some very remarkable moulds. One is next up on my project list!
