On my last 9mm reloading session WSF was used. It has been in stock most all the time nowdays and is
a good all around powder for cast bullet loads.

Guess it would be 231 since I was lucky enough to get three jugs of it at a good price two years ago. Works good in my 380 loads also.

i have noticed it a lot around here too, and at a good price compared to the "classics".

I only shoot jacketed in my 9mm because it is my carry gun and use AA-7. I have other guns for cast bullets that are not 9mm.

I use 4756...4.7-4.8 grains. It pretty much fills the case, not a compressed load, but it discourages the possibility of bullet setback. It is a low pressure loading that is kind to lugers, groups well, burns clean and works in Barettas and a 952. LLS

Under Lee 358-125-RF. I have the 6 gang mold and It drops excellent bullets. I cannot say the same for other 2 cavity molds. Not that they don't produce decent bullets, they are just more temperamental .

I keep coming back to Unique for plinking and Bdot for jacketed 115-125. The past 10 years or so, I've been shhoting alot of cast with mixed results. I've tried the above plus Herco (better) TG, Pwr Pistol, and what ever else I have in the dungeon that would work. I used to get great results with the bdot with win 115 fmj 1.5" - 2.0" but since burning up that last case and switching to boolits it has been more of a pattern. As mentioned, Herco performing the best.

I've done some reading the past year her and am looking at some changes in my 9mm loading. Seated 122 tc's mic at .355 so that really isn't a problem and chambers (2 that I have checked) are running .355 so I think I just need to bunp up dia a .001 or 2 and see were that takes me.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that there is a difference in loading boolits and bullets in this cartridge. Until you have the small things figured out the 'gas' doesn't really matter until you can get a consistant group to print instad of a shotgun blast.

Ramshot Silhouette and Hodgdon HS6 will give you nearly the same velocity as the VV will, so will Hodgdon Longshot but you can also have a shorter COL with Longshot and its lower pressure.

This is one caliber where Power Pistol really shines. I have had excellent results with an NOE 120 odd grain TC and an un-remembered charge of power pistol. (I'm in my shorts right now, or I'd trek out to the reloading shed and check.) But as I recall, I load .3 grains over the start load in my Lyman #4.

titegroup for practice, longshot for heavier boolits in the 9mm & hot loads

titegroup is definitely a favorite for wide variety of uses & cost

Red Dot mostly but I found Alliant's BE-86 to be very accurate in all my 9mm. BE-86 tends to be in the middle to max on loads to get that accuracy. So its not the most efficient. Red Dot on the other hand doesnt take much. shoot great groups and function flawlessly. I have been wanting to try W231 and unique in 9mm. but the velocity is a bit slow for W231 and unique is awesome in .40. so test to come in the future.

I picked up so much 9mm brass at the outdoor range that I had to buy a GLOCK 17...and a 34..and now thinking about a carbine. Anyhow, I ordered a LEE six cavity 356 120 TC and conversion and dies for the DILLON 550b. I bought an EIGHT POUND can of PROMO (RED DOT clone) for $112 out the door, checked various sources and proceeded at 4.0 grains about 5K loads ago. Getting aftermarket barrels for the GLOCKS is a real good idea if you are going to shoot lead PLUS the accuracy and brass condition from a KKM or STORM LAKE is another benefit.
The factory barrel in a model 41 GLOCK gives ridiculously oversized brass. Not many pass the DILLON case gauge. Relief is spelled KKM.
