I didn't know where to ask this, so I went to the only sub forum about cases: have a batch of .45 acp cases with the head stamp *I* 45 auto. Never seen this head stamp before, seems to be nice brass, reloaded fine but just curious about the maker.

Thank you that is a great reference tool, answers some other questions I had but not this one.i saved the Web page and plan to do a print out to have on hand at the loading bench!

I'm pretty sure Independence is a CCI product, AMMUNITION ACCESSORIES INC.,CCI/SPEER OPERATIONS,2299 SNAKE RIVER AVENUE,LEWISTON,ID,83501-9685
*I* is Independence. Made on the same line from the same brass as Federal and Speer.
