    Thoughts on LEE 90697 6 CAV 452-200-RF ?

    Hello
I´m thinking of buying one, but i thought i should ask if there is some here that uses it and what you think of it ? My use for it would be bullseye shooting so i like to keep bullet weight down for a lighter recoil

    Regards

I have it. I won't be using it much soon because the flat is large enough that my bullet collator doesn't like them. They are fine but not really designed for an auto feeder. They seem to fly pretty well, I powder coat them.

I use a two cavity mold of that design. It works well in my 1911 for plinking ammo. I don't shoot bullseye, so can't comment at to recoil issues. My .45 has lighter perceived recoiled than my wife's .40 and winds up being the pistol that most of the family enjoys shooting the most.

How would you be lubing them?

I don't have the 6 cavity mold, but I did buy a bunch of these when Carolina Cast Boolits was working. I used them over Trail Boss in .45 colt for cowboy shooting.

    I use a H&G 68 200gr semi-wadcutter for 1911's. That's the classic bullseye shooting design.
