    Henry Big Boy .41 Mag

This is the gun at the top of my want list for 2016.
I always wanted a Marlin, but I like the looks of this rifle even better.
Do any of you have one of these?

Distributors do not have them in stock yet. From what I have heard Henry will begin shipping them soon.

Kind of an interesting rifle. See many taht are upset becasue the Marlin 94 is not available in other calibers. This one is probably as good.

I expect it will be good.
I would like their Original Henry .44/40 but $2200 is a bit pricey.

Just sent an email asking about the rate of twist.
Also asked if a 24" barrel could be made available.

Probably the same as their 44 mag but who knows.
Most likely set up to shoot best with 210 factory loads.

I would buy one in 41 Magnum if I did not already have a Marlin 1894FG. Then again it would be a good investment because I doubt if they will sell many and in a couple of years they will be considered "collectors items". Now a 327 Federal would interest me.

I think you are right. They probably won't make them for long.

This is something to think about as I love the .41 magnum and want to try out a Henry levergun. I have handled one in 44 magnum and they seem like we'll built guns.

Owning a Marlin 1894FG does not disqualify you from owning a Henry .41 Magnum.

I've been saving my pennies to get a Super Blackhawk Hunter in 41. Guess the ruger will take a back seat until I can get one of these. The blackhawk is going to much easier to find in a few years. I would much rather have a Marlin, I kind of detest the brass tube that could get bent. The marlin has a better magazine and loading system in my opinion, but not enough to command the price they are fetching on Gunbroker. Sure is nice to be able to reload from a shooting position though.

KO41, whew...tell us more about that lovely collection of .41's; especially that custom stocked one...how do they shoot? Looks like you're a Skinner aficionado!

1 in 18.75" on the twist rate, and no projected date on availability. Just sometime this year..

    Hello, everyone.
I have been talkin with Anthony on this since back in the summer.
Well last Tues. I received an e-mail from him telling me that the H012M41's
are getting ready to ship. No he didn't give me a date, just that they would be going out soon.
Also asked me to let others know, if I was on any forums.

Can't hardly wait myself, as I've wanted an 1894 Marlin. But we all know how pricey those are.
KO41 nice collection of 41's Sir.

The tube loading will always be a debateable issue as like anything some will like it and some won't. My Henry 22 mag has a tube feed and I have found I like it. It isn't as handy to single shot load but very handy to unload adn easier to load a magazine. Just let them slide in and out. Don't think you will mess up cartridge noses like the side feeds either. Side loading offers the advantage of loading without taking the rifle out of commission but I have not had that issue in the field. Never really had any issues with mine.

If I need more than ten shots in the field, then something has gone terrible wrong.

Side load is more convenient when shooting from a bench.

I am just happy someone has stepped up and made another fine rifle in .41 mag
I will be ordering one as soon as they become available.

I like you have been pestering Anthony since mid summer for a 41. I wanted a Marlin real bad but those prices were so crazy I passed every time but Im now glad I did. I already have one on order and have had for a month. Im thinking they will sell more than people think they will. Henry is a great company. How many companies can you email the president and get a response. I have not ever not gotten a response from Anthony and I have emailed him many times. Al
