    Nice surprise

    My wife was helping my daughter move into a new place and boxing up the stuff the previous tenant abandoned, some garbage some goodwill stuff. As I was loading the goodwill boxes into the car the wife stopped me reached into one box and pulled out a weighted candle stick and asked "Is this pewter"? A glance told me no, but I checked the bottom for 100% confirmation. It was marked - Sterling.

    Don't know which I liked more, the fact that is was sterling silver or that my wife was looking for pewter for me.
