With no means of even being able to guess what April will bring I'm going to throw out a date of 4/15-17 for our little get together.
This was started by Love Life and has been carried on in his absence.
We don't make it a cast only event more of a run what you brung thing .
A final location will be based on dry ground, access and how much excitement there is for the event.
Of course we have the whole desert to ourselves out here so ranges will also be adjusted to suit enthusiasm but will start with 25,50,100,200 and 500 yd.
In true casters style I have a couple of very tacky 2nd hand silver cups to put up for the best of 2 best of selections which I haven't decided what to call yet . Fallon has been a successful central point for western NV and the eastern Serria so it will again be based there .
Dinner Friday for rules and the social mixing.
Shooting Saturday and Sunday with an early dinner Sunday .
Seeking prefered dining in put and general misguided shoot suggestions.

I don't want to discourage the enthusiasm , the NCBS is still on in Winnemucca.

We don't have too many approved ranges so we shoot in the desert on flats . As such the final site will be dependent on the local conditions. So the final shoot site won't be set until mid March .

I know we have a few new folks that this would be a day trip to just check it out .

I'm planning on the NCBS-- as long as it isn't after the 9th of June (have a family reunion to go to)-- but I'll take any other opportunity to play and get acquainted as well.

I took a drive this weekend and the clay flat is mostly dry ,just 1 tank trap puddle.

I'll get the directions out pretty soon .
4/15 jeans and polo shirts fancy dinner ,rules and games.
4/16 0800 finish setting up as needed and get to shooting .
4/17 0800 shooting
1200 pot luck community grill
1500 pictures, cups, clean up

I am about 5-6 hours from Walker Lake, how much further north is the planned NVGT? I may be able to get over there.

50 to 72 min . 395 or 95 ?

Top off in Tonopah at the Rebel/76 on 95 .
The Vons in Bishop at the 395 /US 6 jct on 395 .
These are the last cheapest fuel coming north until you get into Fallon ,175 and 190 miles respectively. The Golden Gate across from McDonald's is as cheap as it gets in between Tonopah runs 35 cents less and Bishop a dime give or take for card points. I expect Leevining is about $3.75 .
