I think any check made for .452" boolits will work.

my problem is getting the checks crimped on. i use a 460 sizer die and the checks do,nt stay on
Sages Outdoors makes aluminum checks with an OD .464 out of .019 that would work

no sizing for 45-70
I used some of blammer's 458 Rifle checks and sized them to 0.460" for my 45-70s. Brad
I use the Hornady 45 caliber checks on my 45/70 boolits that I size .4585".

send a boolit to blamer and he will get a gater that will work
the Lee 338 is odd size check and he got me one that works
Check with Don at "thegascheckstore.com". He can make them out of 0.020" material for you and that should crimp on nicely. Bigger caliber, thicker material
