Looking for a mold to get started

I have been loading for years and have loaded cast bullets off and on - mostly off due to poor performance. I had a Lyman 311467 mold that I foolishly sold when I thought I would no longer need it and cannot find another.

Our Club has started a 100 and 200 yard cast bullet prone match (thinking is that we may shoot out to 600 yards before long) and I am wanting to participate without embarrassing due to poor reloads. I have purchased a Krieger 1:10 twist barrel with .300"/.308" dimensions. I plan on chambering in 308 Winchester in order to retreat back to F-Class shooting if the cast bullet matches fade.

Here is the help I would like: What mold would be a good one for the above?

    Banger,

Why a 2 cavity with 1 GC and 1 PB?

    Just curious more than anything.

I thought that too but perhaps Blammer was going to suggest one mold cavity each to maintain utmost consistency of design and have one for low speed plinking and one for the faster, long range stuff.

    The one you wanted..

I am positive you can touch base with them and let them know and they will be more than happy to send you one with both cavities GCed..

Wrong answer. Correct answer is I want to try both the GC and PB design to see which shoots better.... never admit DA choice.
Call them and see if they can correct before shipping out.
