    First lube job

As I have the temperament that wants to soak up knowledge and skills at an insatiable rate (and I don't always have a shooting opportunity), did my first tumble lube with jpw and lla. The next day I sized them and then pan lubed with gulf wax and Vaseline,a couple squirts of lla.

Looks very good, now how do they shoot? Should work just fine based on my experience.

Next time I get a chance to shoot, gonna test these along with other reloads, and report back. Plan to load for 9mm with 5.2 gr PowerPistol.

Interestingly, found info in a book on paraffin products on Google books, which reveals the composition of typical lipstick base. It's essentially the same formulation as bullet lube.

    Paraffin 35%
    Vaseline 35%
    Beeswax 18%
    Castor oil 4.7%
    Lanolin 7.3%

Well I went to the range and shot a bunch of those lubed bullets. They shot very well and barrel was clean after 60 rnd or so.

Feels good when a plan comes together!
