Alas, I am no longer. We had some beagles when I was a kid, but there were few rabbits. My old neighbor has Walker coon hounds and still hunts in his late seventies. I remember going out with him and those dogs would cover some ground!

Are my kids/grandkids more important than "o"'s kids, to me they are, darn tooting they are!!! They deserve the same armed protection afforded "o"'s kids.

We had a good bear race today but it got across the state line and a paved highway. Here's the last sign of the one that got away...water tracks where he crossed a Creek.Click image for larger version.

Nothing more exciting than a good bear chase. Looks like you were right on him.

One of the best crosses I have hunted with was a Plott/YellowBlackMouthCur,Very good nose and courage. We used them for hoghunting here.It didn't take them long to learn which end would hurt them and which end was the best for them to bite on.I would not hesitate to use them on bear if they were around here

Used Plotts to hunt bear on the UP back on the late 60's and early 70's. It's been a long time since I've been on a good Bear Hunt. Still coon hunt with walkers and I have Beagles to chase rabbits with.
