My youngest daughter got her buck at 8 am on the 28th of November, one day left in the season. She shot a 4x4 mulie with 270 with handloads of H4831 and 150 Speer. Not a cast bullet kill, so if needs moving a moderator can move it.

Yes all the girls started hunting and shooting really young. This daughter Samantha Colte-Sam Colt, is after me all the time to shoot, hunt and fish. She has taken an interest in handloading and casting now, makes me feel good! Her daughter, 3 years old is just wild about it but we couldn't take her out to walk in the cold, but she made bird opener with us, loved it!

That's wonderful for your daughter and you, swheeler.
Our opener was this morning. I went out but the fire wasn't there. BUT, my daughter asked that I take her out this week so early Thursday morning I believe my excitement level will spring me out of bed well before the alarm goes off! It has been since she was 17 that I had the pleasure of her company and that morning she bagged one big buck with me coaching over her shoulder. School, work, marriage and more school has made her one busy gal but for this one morning I really am looking forward to sitting a spell with her in the woods.
Again, congratulations for your daughter and you. It does a Dad proud.
Wow! She's beautiful, and the bucks not bad either Well done.
