N.O.E. Group Buy - .250 cal 51 gr. Airgun Boattail

A Group Buy has been started for the .250 cal 51 gr. Bob's Boattail I designed for NOE Moulds.... A variety of mould sizes are available, and you can get a HollowPoint pin installed in one cavity, which reduces the weight to 48 gr....

Once 10 guys commit, the tooling will be made and moulds produced.... All prices and terms are on the website.... A 15% discount applies to this Group Buy.... This is a notification only, please participate at the NOE thread linked below....

This bullet was designed to fit Hatsan and MRod magazines, and will work with the 16" twist MRod barrel.... It is untested in the Hatsan barrel, but (a similar design) worked in an 18" twist Korean barrel.... Slight modifications may or may not be required to the chamber....

What's your experience shooting pellets that heavy? How much KE do you need to make it viable past 50yds? I have a Rapid Air Weapons HM1000x that shoots about 49ish ft-lbs.

You need a much more powerful .25 cal to handle a 51 gr. pellet.... It will take 102 FPE to drive it at 950 fps.... You might get 60-65 FPE with that weight in your rifle, but that is only 720-750 fps....

If you got in the 60 FPE range with that 41 gr. bullet, the velocity would be about 800 fps.... That would be a better choice for the RAW, I would think....
