    Knapp saw

Is the Knapp saw company still in business? After cutting up my deer last week with my Knapp saw, I accidentally left it out in the forest. I need to replace it. If anyone knows a place to purchase another one please let me know.

Depending on location, I think I would go back and look for it. JMO.

I kinda get attached to my tools. Believe I'd go back & find it too. Hope it didn't snow too much over the week end.

I would go back and find it also, but to be honest, being attached or having great respect for quality tools keeps me from leaving any good tool in the woods to start with.

I am not attached to a $20.00 tool. I respect people and their property, but tools - give me a break.
Original question was if the company is still in business.

THE PIONEER CO. BOISE IDAHO U.S.A. made the
    KNAPP SPORT SAW

Also I think they made the same saw for Buck knives.

    vs

And I think they are out of business

Most people I run into these days are using the Silky Folding saws from Japan which work on the pull cut
    instead of the push cut.

Well its probly warm enough to go back and look for it now. Or tell some young fella where you think you left it. Bright orange handles on tools has save me several times from losing and forgeting tools

Gerber makes a pretty good saw if you don't find the one you lost.
